Aluminium Powders for Explosives
Product Information:
Coarse grade of flake aluminium powder is non-ignitable and with controlled fatty acid content. It reacts with phosphorous in the production of aluminium phosphide (used as fumigant in the grain storage godowns).
NOTE:
Wet sieving with mineral spirit as rinsing liquid.

Product Information:
Aluminium powders are used as a sensitizer in the manufacture of explosives.
Di erent grades are processed to meet the speci c needs of explosives
manufacturers. Flake aluminium powders add strength to the slurry explosives,
particularly its sensitisation property. Aluminium powder is generally hazardous in nature, but these
powders are properly coated with fatty acids and special properties are generated to enhance its safety
in handling and even in aqueous medium of di erent pH.

Wet sieving with mineral spirit as rinsing liquid.
